What Each Survivor: Second Chances Player Needs to do to Survive Episode 4

With 17 Survivors remaining, and the tribes all shook up, some of the castaways are gasping for breathe in boiling hot water, while others are safer than Michael Phelps in a lifejacket floating in a lazy river.

Here is what each of the remaining castaways have to do in order to make it out of episode 4 alive.

(Ranked in order from most likely to least likely to be voted out tonight.)

17. Woo

Hell hath no fury like an Abi-Maria scorned. And hell REALLY hath no fury like an Abi-Maria scorned twice. Woo has completely lost any trust that Abi still had with him.

So what can Woo do to save himself?

He has two options. Convince Savage and Tasha that if they have any hopes of winning a pre-merge challenge, they have to keep the tribe strong and vote out Varner. If Savage, Tasha, Varner and Abi are a foursome, they will end up at tribal again next week. If Woo can swing Savage and Tasha, and get rid of Varner, Angkor could be a powerful 4 person tribe.

Or, Woo could search high and low for a hidden immunity idol clue, pull some ninja-like moves at the immunity challenge, and secure himself safety at tribal.

16. Jeff

Varner is in the same position as Woo, except for the fact that he has not betrayed Abi, and she will not make it a point to go after him. He does, however, need to convince Savage and Tasha that either Abi is more of a physical challenge liability (not true, but he could give it a shot) or that Woo is more of a mental challenge liability (true.)
Varner needs to give up the hope of simply picking off Savage and Tasha, and focus on putting the target on Abi or Woo. Additionally, he needs to stop playing lip sync battle with the opposing tribes.

15. Stephen

Stephen is the biggest wild card in the game, and despite being in the majority “alliance” on his tribe, he could easily be seen as the most disposable. If Kelly isn’t in trouble with her tribe for interacting with Varner at the last immunity challenge, Stephen could be seen as the biggest post-merge mental threat, and get the boot tonight.

To survive tonight, Stephen should forget about his original Bayon allegiances, and try to convince the three girls (Kelly, Monica, and Kimmi) that Spencer and Jeremy will be massive post merge physical threats. Stephen could cruise to the merge with the girls, and eliminate the strong guys one at a time.

He must be extra smooth though, because if Jeremy catches wind of him trying to form an alliance behind his back, he will use his idol and come after Fishbach with a vengeance.

14. Kelly

Wiglesworth is getting dangerously close to the bottom of this weekly countdown. I worry for Wigles that her tribe is going to be pissed at her for trying to associate with Varner at the last challenge. The last thing they want is for her to reunite with him at the merge. The best thing for Kelly would be for Varner to get voted out tonight, so her tribe would not have to worry about her making the merge with him.

If Bayon loses immunity tonight, it is likely Stephen or Kelly is getting the boot. Kelly’s only hope would be to convince the others that she is stronger than half of her tribe. If she proposed to Jeremy and Spencer to form a solid four way alliance with the three of them and Kimmi (!), they would have some “wiggle” room to vote off Spencer and Monica and still have a somewhat strong tribe. If Kelly goes, the tribe is down to Jeremy and Spencer as their only strong members.

13. Terry

Deitz could be royally screwed tonight if Ta Keo loses immunity. Not only is he in the minority on his tribe, the only other person that is in the minority has immunity. I am assuming the tribe would split their votes between Kelley and Terry in case one of them has immunity, and on a re-vote Deitz would not have a leg to stand on, and would be the first to go from the new Ta Keo.

If I were Deitz, the one thing I would be sure to do, is to keep reminding Joe about the impending merger, and how strong he is. Golden Boy Joe needs as many strong men make the merge as possible, because the more strong guys that are around, the less of a target Joe is. If Deitz can somehow convince Joe and Keith to vote off one of the ladies, the big boys could run this game post merge.

12. Abi-Maria

There are many negatives adjectives one could use when describing Abi-Maria. Some may say she is loud, abrasive, opinionated, and argumentative. But with those qualities, comes honesty, and loyalty. Abi-Maria does not hide her feelings, and once she is loyal, she will not screw her allies over.

Tonight, if Angkor loses, the only thing that should get her voted out is if she is persistent on voting out Woo when Savage and Tasha have already decided to vote off Varner. Savage and Tasha may decide to vote with Woo and drop Abi-Maria while they still can. Because if Abi makes the merge, she will be everyone’s best friend that they want to carry to the finals.

11. Monica

The good thing for Monica is that it should be impossible for her to get voted out until we hear her speak. Therefore: keep quite and don’t mess up any challenges, and Monica should be just fine. If Monica can fly under the radar for just a few more weeks, and make the merge, she should come out as clean as a whistle when the game turns into a bloodbath in a few weeks.

Monica needs to sit out challenges, so she can’t mess them up. And shut her mouth, so she doesn’t piss anyone off. Additionally, she should keep tight with the ladies, as Wiglesworth desperately needs her right now, and Kimmi is always in need of friends.

10-7, Ciera, Joe, Kass, Keith

They are all lumped together, because they are all in a very similar position in the game right now. They are all in the majority alliance on Ta Keo. Even if they lose immunity, the only way they can be voted off is if they do not split the vote between Kelley and Terry. If they split the vote, and Kelley uses her idol (which she will) Terry goes. If they do not split the vote, and Kelley uses her idol (which she will) one of the four of them will be voted out: whoever Kelley chooses (most likely Joe or Ciera, as they could be post merge threats.)

With all the combined Survivor experience that the four of these major players have, there is NO WAY they are not smart enough to split the votes.

Regardless, the odds of them losing an immunity when there are three tribes, is extremely thin. Split the votes, and they will all cruise on to week 5.

6-5. Savage, Tasha

What a difference a week can make. While I am pumped up for my man Savage’s epic turn-around, I am not going to get too excited because I am sure it is only a temporary victory.
The ONLY thing Savage and Tasha have to do this week is coddle Abi-Maria. Make her feel special, and make her feel loved. No matter what happens, just go along with what she wants. If Savage and Tasha want to vote out Jeff, but Abi wants to vote out Woo…. WHO CARES…. VOTE OUT WOO. Does it really matter to Savage and Tasha if Woo or Varner is voted out? Just survive a few more weeks, reconnect with the original Bayon, and run this game until the end.

Whatever you do, do not let Woo or Varner find the idol, and do not piss off Abi.

4. Spencer

Much like Savage and Tasha, Spencer has found new life in the game. Starting a “bromance” with Jeremy is the best thing that Spencer can do. Jeremy is ruling the roost at Bayon, and as long as he is in his good graces, he will not be going anywhere.
And if one of Jeremy’s alliance members get voted out before the merge (Tasha, Savage, Keith, Joe) except Spencer to be right there to fill the void.

Bottom line: Forget the fact that you told Wiglesworth you were going to form super close relationships with her and the rest of the original Ta Keo tribe two weeks ago. Keep telling Jeremy your “heart-felt” stories about you not loving your girlfriend, and you will be golden.

3. Kimmi

Who the hell would have Predicted that:
A) Kimmi would be so safe on a tribe. Ever.
B) Kimmi could be so quiet. Ever.

Apparently these past 14 years have been a major growing experience for Kimmi, as she is basically a complete 180 degrees from the Kimmi we saw back in 2001.

Only advice for Kimmi… If someone wants to wag a finger in your face, or eat chicken, just let them, and slowly walk back to the hammock.

2. Kelley

What Kelley needs to do tonight if Ta Keo loses immunity: Use the idol and vote out Keith (Kelley does not know who, if anyone, has the hidden idol.) She should expect, however, that

Keith does not even know what a hidden immunity idol is, and therefore, will not play one.
If she can somehow get Keith or Joe out, she has a solid chance at an all-girl alliance at new Ta Keo. And Kelley is in DESPERATE need of an alliance.

1. Jeremy

The only thing that Jeremy has to do tonight, is not get caught with his idol. Hide the idol, bury the idol, or stick it up your butt. But, do not get caught with that idol, and Jeremy will continue to dominate Survivor: Second Chances.

20. Olivia

(photo cred: walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia)

Olivia is in charge of all the food rations and the weapons in Alexandria, but probably not for long. Once Rick and the gang take over Alexandria, there is no chance that Olivia will continue to be the one trusted with the food. Is it ironic that the most heavy set person in Alexandria is the one in charge of the food? And, good luck with trying to still be in charge of the weapons. If I were Olivia, I would begin filing my unemployment papers ASAP.

Seeing as she will not be needed anymore, and assuming she will be among the slowest when trying to escape any attacks, Olivia’s days may be numbered.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Olivia is still alive, but I am not sure how the producers would continue her story should she make it out of tonight’s mid-season premiere. Now that the food and weapon storages are obsolete, Olivia will soon be too.

19. Baby Judith

(photo cred: walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia)

Baby Judith has been nothing more than a stage prop recently. Besides being passed along from one character to another like a hot potato, Judith does not bring much to the show. Does she ever cry? Can she walk yet? Who is her real father, Shane or Rick? I have so many questions about baby Judith, but do I really care? Does anyone care? As much as we all hate when little babies die on television, a baby Judith death may be just what we need to make Rick go off the deep end again: thus making for fantastic TV.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Apparently they are never going to kill her off, and apparently she is never going to start walking either.

18. Tara

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

The good thing for Tara is that she has survived much longer than expected. Also, her near death experience at the end of season 5 is a sign that she still has some time left in her. If she was going to die soon, why not just let her die at the end of season 5? Tara’s innocence and warmth make her a fan favorite, and someone people want to root for. Much like Hershel, Beth, and Mika. (!)

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Tara has had more than her fair share of near death experiences. I think she will be around until at least the end of this season, and am expecting her to continue to be a fan favorite come season 7.

17. Abraham

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

Abraham is quickly approaching Darryl/Glenn/Carol type love from fans of the show. Unfortunately for Abraham, beloved characters need to die, and Abraham’s death would send just the right amount of shock waves (death threats to producers/writers) through The Walking Dead universe. And it is almost a given that when Abraham does meet his demise, he will die saving someone else, or simply being a hero.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Now that Abraham, Darryl, and Sasha are separated from the rest of the group and find themselves in the hands of Negan, I would be shocked if all three of them manage to survive. Of the three of them, Abraham will likely be killed off. I am still expecting his death to make him some sort of martyr, possibly for saving the life of Darryl or Sasha.

16. Sam Anderson

(walkingdead.wikia.com

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

If I was a little kid in a post-apocalyptic world, the LAST person that I would befriend would be Carol. Sam will either continue the trend for children dying under the supervision of Carol, or he will be her redemption for the Lizzie-Mika debacle, and for the Sophia nightmare.

Sam is a curious cat, though, and if his mentor is Carol, she could teach him some impressive survival skills. But, if he continue to obsess over the freaking chocolate chip cookies, and not about survival at all costs, he could become the next travel size zombie snack.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: They should have left him in his room. He is as good as dead tonight, and his panicking will likely be the cause of many other’s deaths, including his brother and mother.

15. Francine

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

Not too much is known about Francine except the fact that she joins the men on construction crew, is close with Abraham, and was in on the plan to take down Rick in the season 6 premiere. Francine could go either way in regards to where her loyalties lie.

If she sides with Rick, I can see her surviving for quite a while, and being an important asset to the group. If she sides with Tobin, she will be dead by Thanksgiving. The ball is in your court Francine.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Boy, has she been a huge letdown. Where the hell is she? I was expecting her to start shacking up with one of the boys (mainly Abraham) but she is nowhere to be found. She might as well be dead, and that is probably exactly what is going to happen. Tonight.

14. Jessie

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

Jessie will likely fall in love with Rick now that her husband is out of the picture. She is trying to avoid that at present time, but it will happen. Jessie will make Rick happy, well…. as happy as Rick can possibly be. But, how long will producers let Rick be happy? I think we all know the answer to that question. A happy Rick totally defeats the point of the show.

As a result, Jessie will survive most of the season, and when she dies at the end, it will be one of the most emotional, heart wrenching moments in the show’s history, and it will be epic.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: So, I originally predicted that she would die at the end of the season, but it looks like her time has rapidly approached, and it will come at the hands of her own annoying son. I can not see a scenario how she and her boys will survive tonight’s march through the walkers once Sam starts calling for her. She is likable and a big help to the group, but her two awful sons are will be her downfall.

13. Spencer

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

Much like Francine, Spencer will have to make a decision as to where his loyalties lie. He will likely be the last remaining member of his family after Deanna dies, and will quickly realize that he needs Rick and the gang if he wants to make it. There was a brief interaction between him and Sasha at the end of season 5, and while she shot him down, he could eventually be the only thing that may get her out of the suicidal slump she has been in.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Spencer has been a letdown as well. Besides almost killing himself tight rope walking over a heard of zombies, he has been nearly invisible. I do think at least a few of the original Alexandria resident will survive tonight’s attack, and Spencer may have the best shot.

12. Glenn

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

As much as I hate to admit it, season 6 could be the end of the road for one of our heroes. I would be shocked if Rick, Carl, Carol, Darryl, Michonne, Glenn and Maggie all survive another entire season. Glenn may be the one that takes the fall for them, due to the fact that there would be rioting in the streets if Rick, Carl, Carol, Darryl or Michonne died. It is looking like the end of the road for Glenn/Maggie, and I am assuming that Glenn will die sacrificing himself for his girl.

I hope I am wrong, and Glenn never dies, but sadly, that doesn’t seem to be possible.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Now that Glenn has NOT died after be basically died, I think he is going to stick around for the long haul. Why in the world would the producers not kill him off when they had the chance? It would cause a massive uproar if Glenn dies after making fans wait a month to find out that he wasn’t dead.

11. Enid

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

(walkingdead.wikia.com)

Enid will be the person that turns Carl from a boy to a man. While it is uncertain if they will be romantically involved with each other, Carl will fall in love with Enid, and when she dies, we will have a whole new Carl, the likes of which we have never seen before. This growth will mean that Carl will be able to lead the group, and possibly even take over for his father, affording the only option for the writers to ever be able to kill off Rick. And all because of Enid. Enid will probably make it the majority of the season, and die at the end, ripping out Carl’s heart, and millions of viewers’ hearts in the process.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Enid is so weird that anything could happen with her. She will not die anytime soon, though, because we need to get to the bottom of what she is all about. I say she will stick around until the end of the season, and probably off herself towards the end. She seems too savvy too die at the hands of a walker.

Top 10 coming soon…

Who do you think should be in the top 5? Comment below.

The Walking Dead Cast: Odds of Surviving Season 6

With nearly 30 starring and supporting characters, The Walking Dead is among the largest casts on television, which allows for writers to kill anyone they so desire. The Walking Dead has not shied away from killing major stars, and even killing off children. So anyway is fair game, and nobody is safe.

The following is a spoiler-free countdown of the remaining characters in Alexandria ranked in order from least to greatest chance of surviving the next 16 episodes of season 6.

UPDATE: TO CELEBRATE THE MID-SEASON PREMIERE, LET’S TAKE A LOOK BACK AT THE PREDICTIONS MADE BEFORE EPISODE 1 OF SEASON 6, AND RE-EVALUATE THEIR CHANCE OF SURVIVAL FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON.

(Least likely to survive)

29. Gabriel

The only real question about Father Gabriel’s survival is whether or not the walkers are going to kill him, Rick is going to kill him, or he is going to off himself. The walls of Alexandria are too small for Gabriel to hide, and now that he has completely turned on Rick’s crew, there is no saving grace left for the priest. He better start saying his prayers, as he has a lot of repenting to do before he meets his timely demise.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Fr. Gabriel has really turned his game around. While he has saved some face with Rick and the crew, he find himself at the wrong end of the line when we last saw him trying to escape Alexandria. I still feel like his story has been told. He may get a few more episodes to completely redeem himself, but I fully expect him to be dead by the end of the season.

28. Tobin

Tobin is way too willing to let his homies die in order to “preserve the lives of the others” A.K.A. save himself. He was willing to let Francine get her face chewed off when she fell off the bulldozer, and does not seem to be a team player. He will have a very difficult time getting along with Rick’s crew, which translates to …we will be seeing Tobin’s insides very soon.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: We haven’t seen much from Tobin this season. My guess is that Tobin will not make it out of tonight’s mid-season premiere alive, and nobody will care any less.

27. Ron Anderson

Ron

Things are not looking too good for poor Ron Anderson. Sure, his awful father just got killed by Rick because he was beating Ron’s mom, Jessie. But, Jessie is likely to start shacking up with Rick. And Carl is going start hooking up with Enid, Ron’s girlfriend. Ron will just be getting in the way of the Grimes men’s game, and will be dead by Christmas. Making way for Rick-Jessie-Carl-Enid-Sam-Judith to be one big happy post-apocalyptic family.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: So, I may have been off about the “one big happy family” part, but Ron is still a dead angst-ridden teenager walking.

26. Mikey

Mikey is Ron’s BFF and will likely get eaten alive the same time as his bro, thus leaving Carl and Enid alone with no friends: the way it is meant to be. Mikey is also the son of the most hated man in Alexandria, Nicholas. Nicholas is the reason Noah died, and having his only son die, may be the only payback acceptable enough for Glenn after having to watch his buddy’s face be torn off of him by walkers.

Also, just look at this kid. He is a teenager wearing a V Neck sweater in a post apocalyptic world. This kid couldn’t survive a battle with a baby Judith walker.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Is he still alive? I have no idea. Regardless, he will not make it out of the Alexandria ambush, and nobody will even notice.

25. Eric

To be fair, it is quite impressive that Eric is still alive. Eric, Aaron’s boyfriend, has a broken ankle, which has made him quite immobile (and if you haven’t noticed, mobility is pretty essential in the post-apocalyptic world.) On top of that, Eric is bound to get jealous of the budding bromance between Aaron and Darryl. This will all be too much for Eric to handle, he will die mid-season, and nobody besides Aaron will notice or care.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: What the hell? Did the producers totally forget about Eric and Aaron? I am beginning to think that maybe I missed an episode in which they killed off all of these useless characters. If somehow Eric is still alive, then he should be preparing his last will and testament because he is as good as dead.

24. Bruce

Who the hell is Bruce? Exactly. While Bruce is not a major player Alexandria, he could be useful to Abraham and the construction group for a while, especially if Tobin is out of the picture. Expect Bruce to hang around in the background for a few weeks, but there is not a shot in walker hell Bruce will make it to season 7.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Seriously, there needs to be a good housecleaning of these nobodies tonight. Starting with Bruce, please.

23. Rosita

Season 6 may very well be the curtain call for Rosita, our resident Hispanic beauty. Her major storyline is her relationship with Abraham, and that could very well be played out. There were sparks in Abraham’s eyes when he saved Francine, and a Rosita death (as unfortunate as it may be) would open the gates of France for horn-ball Abraham.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: Thankfully, Rosita is still alive, and while I do not think her life is in as much jeopardy as I originally thought pre-season, I still would not be shocked to see her die before the season 6 finale. While I do not think she will die soon, she may be killed off at the end of the season, just for a bit of shock value.

22. Nicholas

Nicholas is the resident jerk of Alexandria. Although many viewers would love to see him die for what he let happen to Noah, Nicholas could stick around for a while. Fortunately, for Nicholas, his son will probably be killed first. One of two things will happen when his son dies, either he will throw a fit of rage against Rick and the group, or he will begin to change his ways, and potentially become a better person.

A redemption could mean a few seasons for Nicholas. No redemption means he doesn’t last much longer.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: DEAD, but with some redemption.

21. Deanna

Sure, Deanna is bound to survive for at least the first half of the season, as she has to watch her town be pulled out from under her feet, and we need to see her reaction to losing her son and her husband within a few days of each other. However, as the season goes on, and Deanna continues to lose her power, little by little, Deanna will eventually no longer be needed in Alexandria. Rick can work with Deanna for a limited time before he is going to want all of the power for himself, and while I do not think Rick, or any Alexandria resident will kill Deanna, she will die before the season is complete.

MID-SEASON UPDATE: RIP DEANNA
